He had collected four examples just restore one car. ![]() He also fulfilled the dream of restoring a 1961 Sunbeam Alpine – the same as his first car. The car was being raffled by the local Habitat for Humanity branch and Mike Hall pulled the winning ticket December 12th. “It was really just a ‘couple of doors,” he says. He’s particularly proud of the 1968 Camaro RS/SS convertible clone with a 454 cubic inch big block engine and five-speed transmission he restored from the remains of a 1968 Firebird. “If I sold the property, I might keep ten cars, or twenty or thirty…” “I have four hundred cars and it would take me two hundred years to restore them,” he says.
